Loma Systems Food Donation at Christmas
Our sincere thanks go out to the staff members and management of Loma Systems for their generous donation to a local food bank. In just 2 weeks from the beginning of December Loma staff collected an amazing 75Kg of non perishable food which they donated to the Community Grub Hub in Aldershot.
On the morning of Farnborough & Aldershot Lions Club delivery of the Loma food donations 231 households had been served by the Community Grub Hub. In total they distribute 1,400Kg of food every week to those in Rushmoor who would otherwise go hungry. Some of the generous Loma Staff who made such a valuable contribution to this total are pictured here on 'Christmas Jumper Day'.

In additional to the magnificent food donation Loma Systems has also made a generous financial grant to Farnborough & Aldershot Lions Club, who in turn have passed that to the Lions Community Store in Fleet. The Lions Community Store runa very similar food aid scheme for those in need locally. They have already distributed 900 food parcels to those in need in Hart, Rushmoor and surrounding areas.
This story is an ideal example of how local businesses can work so successfully with charity organisations to assist those within our community who are going through difficult times.
